Brilliance Bears News

Happy Friday, Brilliance Families! 💙🐻

Thank you for another amazing week! We loved celebrating our scholars during our awards ceremonies. A special thank-you to the entire school for surprising me with a Principal Appreciation Month celebration. You definitely got me this year! I felt so loved and appreciated. 🥰

Quarter 2 has officially started, and next week is SPIRIT WEEEEEK! 🎉 Monday is Mix-and-Match Day! Scholars may be out of uniform if they are participating in that day’s theme. Please review the Spirit Week flyer carefully. Scholars who are not participating must wear their regular school uniform. Following the expectations helps us continue offering these fun opportunities!

🎃 Our Fall Festival is Thursday, October 29, from 5:00–6:30 p.m.! Admission is $5 per child. Join us for face painting, cornhole, a DJ, decorating activities, Trunk-or-Treat with our participating families, and much more!

📚 The Scholastic Book Fair is open Monday–Friday, October 26–30! Teachers have scheduled shopping times for scholars, and families may shop daily from 3:00–4:30 p.m. Please have funds ready when your scholar visits.

Thank you for your continued support and dedication to our school community. We have a busy, exciting week ahead, and we look forward to making wonderful memories together!

Attendance matters! Every day your scholar is in school is an opportunity to learn, build confidence, and make academic progress. Consistent attendance also affects our school’s overall performance and report card rating. When scholars miss school, they miss valuable instruction and opportunities to grow. Families, you are an important part of our success—help your scholar arrive on time and ready to learn each day. Be part of the win so we can grow together! Every day counts. Every Bear matters. 🐻💙

🍂 Brilliance Fall Festival & Trunk or Treat 🎃

Join us on Thursday, October 29, from 5:00–6:30 p.m. Scholars can come in costume, play games, shop the Scholastic Book Fair, enjoy Trunk or Treat, and spend a fun evening with the Brilliance community. Admission is $5 per person.

We need 20 parents to host trunks! Please click the registration link in this newsletter to let us know if you plan to attend, host a trunk, or volunteer. We look forward to seeing you there!
