FULLER FAMILY NEWS
From the Principal's Desk
Fuller Families,
Get ready for a night of fun and literacy at Literacy Night on Tuesday from 5:30–7:30 PM! Families can enjoy community vendors, try out activities like karaoke, make your own trail mix, read under the stars, meet a special author, and so much more! Don’t forget to join our book exchange—bring a new or gently used book from home, donate it, and pick a new favorite to take home.
Later in the week, it’s time for Fuller Friendsgiving on Thursday and Friday! We’d love for parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and friends to join us for lunch and share in the fun. Check out the graphic below for lunch times by day so you don’t miss a bite!
Our week will culminate with our PTO Boosterthon Fun Run!!! Reminder! Our fundraiser is ongoing! Get signed up today at MyBooster.com and try to finish the Weekend Challenge before time is out.
Then, it’s time to relax and celebrate—Thanksgiving Break begins Friday, November 22nd and runs through Friday, November 28th. We also get to celebrate two very special birthdays during the break: Mrs. Martin on the 22nd and Mrs. Lisa Paisley on the 28th.
We hope everyone enjoys the break, and we can’t wait to see all our Fuller families back on Monday, December 1st!
Remember, We are Fuller—we are Family!
Thank you,
Nathan Smith

Teacher Feature
We are excited to celebrate Mrs. Hinson as our Teacher Feature this week!
Mrs. Hinson sets the tone for success by creating a calm, structured classroom environment where high expectations are the norm and every student feels empowered to grow.
She is a true collaborator—consistently partnering with general education teachers to ensure her students receive a fully aligned and meaningful academic experience. Her dedication to teamwork and instructional alignment shines through in everything she does.
This week, her students proudly shared the books they wrote, showcasing incredible ownership and creativity. With student choice at the forefront, their stories reflected a wide range of topics, and it was clear they had been intentional with word choice to make their writing come alive.
Thank you, Mrs. Hinson, for your commitment, collaboration, and unwavering belief in your students. We are grateful for the joy and excellence you bring to Fuller Elementary!

Attendance
Please remember our campus goal is a 95% attendance rate. We want to see every child, every day.
Absences and excuse notifications should be sent to sharrison@aubreyisd.net OR alaster@aubreyisd.net
Good attendance is important for many reasons. Your child receives the maximum benefit of education by being in school every day, and numerous studies show a strong link between academic performance and consistent attendance. Per TEA, ADA time is 9:00AM, any student that arrives after 9:00AM, will be counted absent for the entire day of school. Tardy period is from 7:35-8:59AM.
A compulsory attendance notification will be sent to the parent if a student has unexcused absences on 10 or more days or parts of days within a six-month period or three days or parts of days during a four-week period. Notice it says “parts of days.” This means that leaving school early, or arriving excessively late in the day, even if the child attended for some of the day, may count as an absence.
In the state of Texas, Pre-K is not required, however, once you enroll your student in school, all attendance laws apply.
For attendance questions:
