Marysville Enchanted Care News

Dear Enchanted Care Families,

Summer is in full swing, and we are soaking in the fun! From spending time outdoors and having fun with water to playing games with friends and participating in new learning experiences, we’re creating a summer to remember! We can’t wait to see what the rest of the season holds. Additionally, July is a special month as we get ready to participate in our summer giving initiative.

Sincerely,

Jamie Driskill

As July begins, our classrooms will be working on festive activities in honor of Independence Day. We invite our students to wear red, white, and blue on Thursday, July 3rd to celebrate the holiday. We will even have a parade outside showcasing our patriotic attire and spirit!

Every summer, we participate in our Kids Helping Communities initiative to give back to communities in need. This year, we will be partnering with Alex's Lemonade Stand to raise awareness and funds for pediatric cancer. Keep an eye out for more information via Links 2 Home!

Water days are so much fun! Please continue to send your child to school with their swimsuit on and pack a change of clothes and a towel. Sunscreen should be applied before drop-off. For the safety of our students, we ask that they always wear closed-toe shoes. Thank you for your partnership in creating a safe summer!

Our Water Day schedule is as follows:

Tuesday: Toddler 2

Wednesday: Intermediate

Thursday: Beginner

Friday: Pre-K

**Please note that Toddler One does not have weekly water days, but will have a couple of scheduled water play days throughout the summer. Dates for that coming soon!

Do you know a colleague who has recently had a baby, a friend in need of care who just relocated to the area, or a family member who is seeking a new preschool for their child? Invite them to our Open House on Saturday, August 2nd. When you refer a friend and they enroll, you’re eligible for a free week of tuition. Ask us for details!

With the temperatures getting warmer, we want to make sure we are taking precautions to keep our students safe. Here are a few summer safety reminders:

- Sunscreen will be provided by families. **NO AEROSOL SUNSCREEN** Do not forget to fill out a topical form when you turn in your sunscreen!

-Closed-toe shoes are required!

-We will provide water in cups if needed, but would appreciate if you bring a water bottle for your child to use throughout the day
