BENNY PASSES THE MIC TO OUR PTA PRESIDENT
A big, BIG "THANK YOU!" to everyone who made our Raise Above It event a success! It was fun to see everyone earning their monster pillow pizza blanket. We handed out more than 150!
Now we're into October -- and it's going to be a busy one for us. Here's a quick look at what you need to know:
- 💰 Our annual Silent Auction is NOW open, with more than 100 amazing prizes to bid on.
- ⚽ Help us stock new recess equipment for each grade. Sign up to donate an item on the grades' wishlists here.
- 🎨 The PTA Reflections Art Contest is accepting entries through November 14.
- 🆘 We need volunteers to make Fall Carnival and other events happen! Please check out Voly to see how you can help - from assisting in the library to decorating the halls or staffing Book Fair.
Thanks,
Bridgette Williams
Mom to Brandon & Nathan (3rd graders)
DATE: Thursday, October 10
TIME: 6:00-7:00 p.m.
WHAT: Join us to learn about upcoming PTA events, needs, and how you can help our school. Then our wonderful counselor, Ms. Thrift, will speak about "Mental Wellness: Stress and Anxiety" and share some resources available to students at our school so you can be an informed parent.
We’re looking to gather donations of outdoor equipment, such as balls, jump ropes, frisbees, and other items that the children can use during recess. Each grade level has given us lists of things they need/want.
HOW TO HELP: Sign up to donate an item on the grades' wishlists. We will collect items at morning carpool in the front of the school the week after Fall Break, October 21-25.
Helpful Tip: Amazon has two days of Prime Day this week, October 8-9, and also Target, Walmart and other stores are having similar sales as well!
CONTEST THEME: Accepting Imperfection

WHO: All students Pre-K through 5th may enter, including special artists. Student *must* have a PTA member in their household to qualify!

We need volunteers to help:
- Reshelve books in the library. This is an ongoing need so choose anytime that works for your schedule.
- Celebrate Red Ribbon Week. Help us decorate and turn Boggess red.
- Bring bookjoy at the Book Fair! If you loved Book Fair as a kid (I mean, who didn't?), this is the job for you. Help us set up and staff the fair in November.
