Newsletter December 2, 2024

Hello Nashoba Community,

I hope you had a happy Thanksgiving with friends and family. We had a very successful Fall Wolf Day on the Tuesday before the Thanksgiving break culminating in a "Pie your Teacher" event. In addition, while we may have lost the Thanksgiving Day football game against Clinton, we won the food drive competition - our school community collected and donated a whopping 1,700 pounds of dry and canned goods to WHEAT!

Upcoming dates:

  • Thursday, December 5, DECA Mock Competition
  • Wednesday, December 11 - School Council 6pm
  • Wednesday, December 11 - Winter Concert
  • Friday, December 13 - Early Release for students PD day
  • Friday, December 13 - Varsity Boys Basketball home game - 6pm
  • December 23-January 1 - Winter Break

We also have one final call for any students interested in going on the French Exchange trip this spring. See the flyer below.

Have a wonderful week!

Holidays without Hunger

On Sunday, December 15th from 9:00 to 11:00 am the NRHS National Honor Society led by Caterina Romano is teaming up with the nonprofit Meals of Hope to host Holidays Without Hunger in the High School Cafeteria. We hope to pack over 27,000 nutritious meals for local food banks, but need volunteers! Sign up at www.tinyurl.com/holidayswithouthunger and help make the holiday season a bit brighter for local families in need. This is a great way to get volunteer hours for NHS, etc! You can learn more about Meals of Hope and their mission at www.mealsofhope.org.
