Dear Parmenter Families,

We’ve wrapped up ELA MCAS testing for grades 3, 4, and 5 (aside from a few makeups next week), and we want to thank you for getting students to school on time and ready to go! MCAS continues to be an important data point for our schools as we strive to improve, and at the high school level, there are even scholarships tied to results. A huge thank you to our staff for their efforts in supporting students through testing. Up next—Math MCAS! Check the calendar below for dates.

Looking ahead: Monday is an early release day, and there is no school next Friday for Good Friday. Then, we head into April Vacation! Once we return, we’re in the **home stretch—**and it’s going to be a busy one!

Transportation Registration for the 2025-26 School Year will open on April 29, 2025. More information on how to register will be posted to the website and emailed to families when registration opens.

The 5th Grade Celebration Committee has begun to plan an awesome celebration for our 5th grade class! SAVE THE DATE: Wednesday June 11th- 5th Grade Celebration! (rain date- June 10th)

If you are a 5th grade parent, please email Amy Papagno at papagnoa@gmail.com. We are putting together an email chain of 5th grade parents. This is where you will receive information about the event- lunch orders, sweatshirt orders, t-shirt orders, volunteering the day of the event... you do not want to miss this information! Please email Amy at your earliest convenience!

Our current 5th graders will be the last class to graduate from Parmenter! Let's make it the best celebration yet! The current estimated cost per student is approximately $150. Our first big fundraising initiative is direct donations from our 5th grade families. If you are able, please use the QR code below, or the flyer in your 5th grader's folder to make a donation. Donations are completely voluntary, but we appreciate the help to make this a great celebration for our 5th graders! THANK YOU!
