📵 Cell Phone Policy: Students are expected to follow the school’s cell phone expectations throughout the school day. We ask families to reinforce these expectations at home so that our students can remain focused, engaged, and ready to learn.

🏫 Attendance Matters: Every day in school counts! Regular attendance plays an important role in academic success. We are excited to announce a little friendly competition—the grade level with the HIGHEST attendance will earn special recognition! Encourage your student to show up, be on time, and stay all day!

💙💛 Behavior Matters, Too: Disruptive and inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. We expect our Eagles to make positive choices, respect others, and contribute to a safe and productive learning environment.

📖 ELA Spotlight: Mrs. Jackson and her students participated in ELA conferences, reviewing their Exact Path ELA data to identify areas of strength and pinpoint areas for growth. Our Eagles are taking ownership of their learning and using data to set goals for success!

➗ Math Spotlight: Mrs. Walton’s 7th grade mathematicians were hard at work exploring the properties of exponents. They are building their mathematical thinking, strengthening their skills, and tackling challenging concepts with determination!

📐 Mr. Twumasi’s students tackled the slopes of parallel and perpendicular lines during geometry class.

📚 Ms. Reid’s English 3 students compared two poems and identified literary elements in each.

❤️ Coach Thomas’ civics students took time to remember and honor the lives and sacrifices connected to 9/11 by viewing The Man in the Red Bandana SC Feature and reflecting on its message through narrative writing.

The Scott’s Branch Middle High School Library “20 Books to Read in 2026” Reading Challenge starts September 1, 2026! Your goal is simple: read 20 books between September and December and complete the challenge. See Miss Davis in the library if you need a challenge form.

• 🎁 Earn a chance to win a gift card in your grade-level prize drawing!
