January 6, 2025
Nate Evans
Nathaniel is a senior on the golf team and lacrosse team. His favorite memory is when West York beat Dallastown in basketball with a triple overtime. Nathaniel’s post high school plan is to go to college in the southwest and study forestry. His advice to the upcoming underclassmen is stay on top of your work and be respectful to teachers.
Moira Santos
Moira has played field hockey for 4 years and also ran track and field for 1 year. Her favorite memory would be eating outside on the bleachers with her friends during Lunch and Learn.
Moira’s future plans for post high school is to Major in Biology at the University of Pittsburgh on a Pre-Dental Track. Her advice to underclassmen would be that it’s okay to not have everything figured out just yet. Also mentally prepare yourself for your junior year!
Addison Skimski
Addison is a senior on the varsity softball team. She also plays travel softball for the Triple Town Aces with some of her school teammates. Her favorite memory of school has to be all of the opportunities she has gotten through her classes that have allowed her to figure out what she wants to do in the future. Addison’s favorite memory from playing sports is just spending time with all of her friends and teammates, specifically the bus rides and team dinners. In the future she wants to be an emergency medicine physician. Addison is still not sure where she wants to go for college but after she graduates college she will go on to medical school. She is planning on majoring in biology in college. Her future advice for underclassmen is to take all of the opportunities you get. This will help you figure out the future, and if you still don't know what you want to do it's no worries because you have plenty of time to figure it out.
