2026 Team Baby Summit: November 18–19, 2026, Bristol Event Center
Every baby needs a team: Parents and caregivers, early childhood professionals, and policymakers who show up for infant and early childhood mental health. That’s Team Baby.
This fall, CT-AIMH launches Big Work Happens Here, spotlighting the work already underway across Connecticut and calling on all of us to grow it — because when Connecticut teams up for positive mental health right from the start, every child benefits.
Join Team Baby this November at Connecticut’s inaugural Infant Mental Health Summit for two days of connection, learning, and collective action among those working in early childhood, healthcare, behavioral health, education, child welfare, family support, and public policy.

What are you reading this week?
Don't Trust Fish By Neil Sharpson; Illustrated by Dan Santat
Don't Trust Fish, by Neil Sharpson and illustrated by Dan Santat, is an absurdly funny picture book in which a narrator lays out clear, sensible categories for animals (i.e. reptiles are scaly, birds have feathers) only to conclude that fish don't play by the rules and therefore can't be trusted. The narrator piles up increasingly ridiculous "evidence" against fish, building to a gleefully over-the-top comic payoff.
Explore through Movement and Play: Call out an animal from the story and have the children act it out, galloping like a horse, slithering like a snake, flapping like a bird, or "swimming" (and looking extra sneaky, fish-style!) across the room.
