👩🏻‍🏫 Note from the Principal's Desk

As we move into this time of year, the days grow longer, the weather continues to warm, and the sunshine seems just a bit brighter. While the change in seasons brings excitement and new energy, it can also introduce more distractions. This makes it the perfect time to embrace a “work hard, play hard” mindset.

Spring is a busy season for many families, filled with concerts, athletic events, and activities like soccer, baseball, softball, and time spent outdoors. With so much happening, it’s important to keep our primary focus in mind—school. With just seven weeks remaining in the academic year, now is a great opportunity to sit down with your children and reinforce the importance of finishing strong. When students stay committed to their learning, they build habits of responsibility and perseverance that will serve them well beyond the classroom.

With the added daylight and beautiful weather, we are fortunate to have opportunities for both hard work and well-deserved enjoyment. Together, we can help our students maintain that balance and make the most of these final weeks.

Wishing you all a wonderful April!

While winter seems to have gone away to hibernate, that does not necessarily it is short weather every day. If your child wears shorts to school, please ask him or her to bring sweatpants or wind pants with him or her to school, just in case it is still cold outside at recess time!
If your child is/will be gone from school, please contact the office so we can know about your child’s whereabouts.
Many of our students have been wearing sweatshirts to school on a regular basis, which is great. But, after two or three days of continuous wear, the sweatshirts can become dirty and a bit smelly. Please remember to wash those sweatshirts periodically.

The Eagle Way isn’t just an expectation at school. It’s also an expectation throughout life, including on the playground and at the park. That said, here are some tips for doing things the Eagle Way during play time.
