Vote!

The 2016 election is quickly approaching! Brittney and I have setup a forum through PebbleGo for your students to "cast their vote" in the upcoming election!

If you are interested, here is how your students can participate in the PebbleGo election:

  • Go to www.pebblego.com/vote
  • Choose "Vote!" from the top navigation
  • Select "My school is registered to vote"
  • Type in our school's voting code: IL1409
  • Select Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump
  • Click Vote!

If you'd like to print these directions for your students, please click here.

Voting is currently open! The voting window closes on November 8, 2016 at 5:00 pm. We will share our school's results on the morning of November 9.

Halloween Magnetic Poetry

Kasey Bell of Shake Up Learning created a Halloween-themed magnetic poetry template on Google Drawing. There are nearly 100 words on the template. It can be used independently or as a whole-class activity. Feel free to delete words you want to omit. To add your own word magnet, make a text box, and fill it with a white background.

Click here to try it out!
