CONGRATULATIONS!
The NCCT National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) exam measures an individual's knowledge and skills needed to work as a medical assistant in a medical-practice setting. Those who pass the exam earn a certification to start their careers as medical assistants. This year, 100% of El Camino Medical Assisting Program students passed the NCCT exam and are now qualified to work as medical assistants! Congratulations MAP students!

Artists of the Week!
Mrs. McDonald is so proud of these three students whose artwork was accepted in the California State Fair this year! These students, Synxier Knight, Hasina Rahmani and Zoey Storms, are all 9th graders in Beginning Drawing and Painting. Their skateboards will be judged for awards and showcased live on the fairgrounds of Cal Expo from July 17 to August 2nd.
Hasina's artist statement: I like my skateboard because it's my first time painting one and I really like the way it came out, especially the colors.
Synxier's artist statement: I made this piece because I wanted to represent my culture in my art. I wanted the colors to pop and to catch the eye of others.
Zoey's artist statement: I really like how my skateboard looks overall. I used a Dremel to engrave the skull and scorpions and used neutral colors mainly, except for the scorpion.
