I can't believe that we are already to the month of March and very soon we will be wrapping up the 3rd nine weeks.
Read Across America Week is March 2-6, 2026. Please see the flyer below for the themes for each day.
Friday, March 6th - The PTO will have our annual Daddy Daughter Dance. Registration forms and fees are due Monday, March 2nd.
Friday, March 13th and Monday, March 16th - Friday is a student holiday and Monday is a Teacher Inservice Day. There will be NO SCHOOL these days.
Thursday, March 19th - Author's Visit with Jasmine Warga, the author of A Rover's Story.
Monday, March 23rd - Report Cards Go Home
Thursday, March 26th - This is Spring and Class Picture Day.
Yearbooks - The last day to order yearbooks is March 15th. See below for more information.
School Choice Applications - School Choice Applications are now open. If you have recently moved out of the PES zone and would like to remain at PES or if you know someone who lives outside of the PES zone and would like to attend PES, please complete the School Choice Application.
Update Phone Numbers - If your phone number has changed since the beginning of the school year, please login to your Final Forms account and update any changed numbers or e-mail addresses. If you need help with your login information, please contact Ms. Fowler at 864-397-2303.

Meet the 1st grade heroes who make school feel like home! ✨

Mrs. Alexander, Mrs. Cannon, Mrs. Doomey‑Lawson, and Ms. Turner turn learning into laughter and make every child feel loved and valued. Their kindness, creativity, and energy light up our school! 💛📚🎨

We’re excited to announce the launch of our Parent Resource Cart, a new tool designed to support families in learning at home! The cart includes a variety of educational materials, activities, and resources that parents can check out and use with their children at home. Each resource can be checked out for two weeks and must be picked up and returned by a parent. We do not send these resources home with students.

Whether you’re looking for fun learning games, literacy supports, or hands-on activities, the Parent Resource Cart is here to help strengthen the home–school connection and support your child’s growth.
