Dear DEE Families,
What a week! We celebrated student growth in a big way with our first-ever Growth Parade and a school-wide assembly focused on creativity. It was so special to see families cheering along the parade route. If you snapped any great photos, please share them with us at dee@sumnersd.org!
We also gave a big shout-out to our PACER test top performers. Way to go, Explorers! Next week, we’ll be cheering on our DEE Track Team at the SBLSD Elementary Track Meet. If you’re near Sunset Stadium on Wednesday, come out and support our student athletes.
Next week is Career Week, and the excitement continues with field trips, guest speakers, and hands-on learning. On Thursday, we’ll host our PTA Volunteer Breakfast at 8:00 am. Thank you for all you do! We’ll also hold Water Safety Assemblies with the City of Bonney Lake Police Department to help our students get ready for summer.
We’ll wrap up the week with Career Day on Friday. Students can dress up as their future selves. Kindergarteners will also head off for their zoo field trip.
We’re proud of every Explorer. Thanks for partnering with us to make DEE such a great place to grow and learn.
Go Explorers!
