You’re Invited to Our First PTA Meeting! – August 19, 6:15 pm

Meet other parents, hear what’s coming up, and help shape the school year. We have a GREAT group of volunteers this year, and we’d love to include you.

This meeting is taking place in person, in the Lufkin media center, and we're also hosting via Google Meet in case you're not able to be there but would still like to attend. (We encourage you to come in person, if possible! Google Meet info: meet.google.com/usu-zxwy-nqv

Sept 5: 6th Grade Dance (Volunteer opportunity)

Our students love their grade-level socials, and we need adult volunteers to make them happen! Lend a hand, and see the joy for yourself.

6th Grade Social: September 5 and March 27
7th Grade Social: October 17 and March 6
8th Grade Social: November 7 and May 8 (sign-up for the May 8 dance will come separately)

Parents and other adult volunteers are needed to staff the BOLTS Cart, which is the school’s student-recognition system celebrating students’ positive behavior choices. Teachers award student stickers to recognize positive behaviors, and students get to “shop” at the cart for treats and prizes. cart. Help Us Fill Our Staff Snack Baskets

Each year, we treat our amazing Lufkin staff and teachers to tasty snacks! Throughout the school year, the PTA creates and delivers snack baskets to each pod for teachers to enjoy.

Let’s continue this tradition — we need your help! If you’re able, please consider donating snacks to help us fill the baskets. For your convenience, we’ve put together an Amazon Wish List — all items will be shipped directly to the school.

Lightning Bolt Walk of Fame
