Years of Service Celebration
On Tuesday, we had the pleasure of honoring our staff members with milestone years of service. This year, we celebrated Mrs. Shanahan, Mrs. Schmidt, and Mrs. Richardson for 25 years of service to D303. Our custodian, Mr. Cruz was honored for 30 years of service in the district. Our staff shared special messages for these amazing staff members and also honored two of our retirees, Mrs. Richardson and Mrs. Holloway. Congratulations to our Ferson staff members for their years of service!

Superintendent Dr. Paul Gordon shared the details of the April 13 meeting of the School Board, where members of the D303 Communitywide Education Facilities Committee joined district leadership in presenting and discussing the Committee’s Final Report.
“I feel we’re at a crossroads,” D303 parent and Facilities Committee Member Alice Froemling told the School Board. “We have great staff, great teachers, great people who are in our schools every day working with our kids. But we’ve achieved our great success not because of our facilities but in spite of our facilities… We have to do something.”

2026-2027 Ferson Creek PTO Board Nominations-NOW OPEN!
If you are interested in joining the Executive Board of the Ferson Creek PTO nominations are now open through April 26. Self nominations or nominations of others who would be a great fit are welcome!
These positions are open to parents, guardians and Ferson Creek staff. Our board officers work collaboratively, in place of titled positions. We work together as a team, sharing the responsibilities that come up and tackle the needs of the organization as a group. Board officers are volunteers and each person's availability may fluctuate day to day, as well as throughout the year; however, each board officer is a valuable part of the team and participation is crucial to the success of the organization.
All names received will be added to our public nomination list and then an election ballot will be available. New board members will be announced at our May PTO meeting.
Have a question? Feel free to message us anytime!
We also have lots of opportunities to get involved with the PTO without committing to the role of a board officer and we encourage individuals to join us! Event coordinators and committee positions are always needed!
