Madison Upper Elementary Update
May 19 - 23
Happy Monday!!!
This morning Deputy Birdwell revealed his new hair color. He promised as part of the Books with Birdwell program, if the school raised $1,500, he would dye his hair. And, the class who raised the most would get to choose the color. Well, we met our goal, and Mrs. Teague's class was the winner. Her class earned an ice cream party and got to pick Deputy Birdwell's new hair color.
Students not only discovered Deputy Birdwell's new hair color but were also recognized for exemplifying key values: Living respectfully, Embracing responsibility, Acting safely, and Developing healthy choices. Six tickets were drawn per grade level, and the selected students received gift cards to Tropical Smoothie as a reward for a healthy treat.
