Message from Principal Aronow
Dear Summit Hill Parents, Guardians, and Students,
Can you believe the 1st quarter of the school year is almost complete? Our students have been busy with their class work assignments and our teachers have been busy reading the student data. Summit Hill teachers look at student data weekly and they base interventions and enrichments on their findings. The 1st 9-week grading period will end on Thursday, October 10, 2024. Please make sure you are monitoring your student's grades in Parent Portal. If you notice your student struggling in an area, please reach out to the teacher with your concerns. Also, report cards will not be printed out and sent home with students. You will be able to view your student's report cards on Parent Portal this year.

Family Lunch & Book Fair Bash: Eat, Read, Repeat!
Families are welcome to eat lunch with their student(s) in any grade level on Wednesday, October 16th or Thursday, October 17th and enjoy shopping at the book fair afterwards. Sign up to eat lunch with your student(s) on October 16th or October 17th by scanning the QR code. Deadline to sign up is Wednesday, October 9th. We will have visitor passes pre-made for everyone that signs up. Sign Up is required in order to attend due to limited space.
Several parents have reached out about the possibility of getting House gear for their students. I reached out to a company and they designed these perfect House shirts for our campus. Parents/Guardians will be able to purchase House shirts from October 15th until November 1st.
Our wish is for every student to receive a House shirt and we could use your help with this. If you would like to purchase a shirt for another student, please indicate that on your order form under Teacher Name. Don't worry about the size. We will get that information once we have a list of students.
You can click on the order form picture to access the link to a digital copy. We will also print the order form and send it home with each student.
P.S. Not only will these shirts be used for our House day every Monday, but we can also have our students wear them when attending field trips to ensure safety.
