Greetings Falcon Community,

Our school year has kicked off beautifully! Students are forming new friendships, settling into routines, and diving into meaningful learning experiences. Cameron Ranch continues to be a warm and vibrant place to learn and grow. It’s moments like these that highlight the responsibility and attentiveness of our community.

Safety Drills

Recently, we practiced our first fire drill, and the students did an outstanding job listening carefully and following evacuation instructions. If you would like more information about the types of safety drills we practice throughout the school year, please refer to the graphic below, contact your child’s teacher, or reach out to the front office. Debriefing these drills at home helps students feel safe and secure by reinforcing what they’ve learned and addressing any questions or concerns.

SOAR with us! Families First Friday

Please join us for Families First Friday on September 5, 2025, at 9:00 AM in the library. It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect, learn about upcoming events, find ways to get involved, and meet other parents. Together, we soar!

School Site Council Elections

We’re also seeking 2 parents to join our School Site Council this year. Your involvement makes a real difference! If you’re interested, please submit your application by Friday, September 5, 2025. Our Shared Community

During September, students will focus on the character trait of respect and its role in fostering a positive school culture. Students will also participate in our monthly community book series, by celebrating the diversity that makes our learning community unique. Exploring student identities in the classroom promotes a more inclusive environment, deepening engagement and respect by recognizing and valuing each student’s individual background and experiences. Arrival and Dismissal Reminders

Thank you, parents, for your patience and cooperation in the parking lots during arrival and dismissal. It's been a smooth start! A quick reminder: if you wish to get out of your car with your student, please use a parking stall or street parking rather than the drive-through lane, as stopping there can block traffic flow and cause delays. Also, the upper parking lot is reserved for school buses and families who have students with disabilities.

The school office is open daily between the hours of 8:00am and 4:30pm.

Transitional Kindergarten: Monday-Friday 8:55-12:15

ILS Kindergarten: Monday-Friday 8:55-12:55

Kindergarten - Grade 5: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 8:55-3:30

Kindergarten - Grade 5: Thursday 8:55-2:15

Minimum Days: 8:55-12:20

Breakfast and lunch are served daily, free of charge. Breakfast service and supervision begins at 8:20. Students may not be dropped off prior to 8:20am

Safety Gates will be closed and locked at 9:15 each day and opened at the end of the school day for dismissal. The only point of entry into campus will be through the front office during the school day.
