Parent/Teacher Conferences
Parent/Teacher Conferences are Thursday, February 12th. To avoid scheduling conflicts, P/T Conferences at EEM will be by appointment only. To schedule a conference, click on the teacher’s name you would like to meet on the following link. The links will direct you to each teacher’s Sign Up Genius. You may choose the best available time to meet with that teacher. Each teacher has 10 minute intervals from 2:00-7:30 pm. Due to the limited time on conference day, if you are unable to schedule a conference with a teacher, please contact the teacher to schedule a conference on a different day/time. We look forward to meeting you to discuss your child’s progress.

Nurse's Corner
I hope everyone stayed safe and warm! Please keep your child at home if they are experiencing fever, vomiting, or diarrhea. If your child has flu-like symptoms please take them to be checked by their doctor.
The Reminders:
If your child is struggling with mental health or if you have concerns, here's a resource for parents: Supporting Kids’ Mental Health a Guide for Parents and you can always reach out to the school for more resources or help.
BMI and Scoliosis Screenings will begin in March. More information to follow.
Hearing and Vision referral letters have gone out. Please return completed forms as soon as possible.
Please make sure your child is up to date on immunizations or that their exemption is up to date. Exemptions need to be renewed every new school year. If you’re not sure about your child’s status, please don’t hesitate to contact the school nurse.
Parents/guardians this first time dropping off your student’s meds with the nurse will take some time: forms and consents need to be signed and meds need to be counted.
If your child has a health condition, please inform the school nurse. We want to keep all our students safe and make sure they are receiving proper care while at school.
If your child needs a check-up, immunizations, or is feeling ill our Jacket Health and Wellness Clinic is convenient and quick. For more information click the link Jacket Health or call (870) 484-4411 to set up an appointment.
Please keep your child at home if they have a fever, vomiting, or have diarrhea. Students must be 24 hrs without fever or symptoms in order to return to school. Please also let attendance or the school nurse know.
The Sheridan School District is a peanut/tree nut free district. Please do not send or allow your child to bring food items into the school that contain peanuts, peanut products, or tree nuts. This information will be found on the label under ingredients. Due to continual changes in manufacturer packaging and processing, please read the ingredient label to ensure that it does not contain any of the following: peanuts/ nuts, peanut/nut butter, peanut/nut oil, peanut/nut flour, peanut/nut meal, or any of the statements “may contain traces of peanut/nuts.” (M&M’s, Butterfinger).
Parents, be on the lookout for head lice and remind students not to share combs/brushes or clothing items.
Thank you and please contact me with any questions or concerns.
