As a reminder, we have streamlined absence reporting for all of our campuses for this school year. It is very important that we have documented reasons for absences so that we can ensure your student is given an excused absence when needed.

Are you an incoming 9th - 12th grader at Aledo High School? Interested in learning more about Advanced Academics, Career and Technical Education, Electives, and Student Organizations? Come by the Info Expo at Aledo High School on December 2! The Expo is from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
A Note from CTE
Dear 8th Grade Parents-
We had a blast with your students last week at the annual AISD CTE Fair at both AMS/MMS. Your student got to spend a class period in the library during their Health/CCR course visiting tables that represented the 18 different pathway choices. Students learned about the many CTE electives available at AHS! Your student was able to meet high school students and teachers that teach these pathways, see examples of what students are working on in these classes and then completed activities in their CCR/Health course that allowed them to begin to narrow their choices for their high school endorsement for course selection! We now invite parents to join us the evening of Monday, December 2nd at 5:30pm for the annual AHS Info/Expo where you will also be able to experience all of the course options for your students at AHS! Exciting times ahead as you begin to make plans for high school that will prepare you for college and career!

Support Aledo ISD with Student Fee Donations
Are you looking to support our Aledo ISD students? Did you know we have a method for community members wishing to donate to cover fees for those in need through the My School Bucks platform? Donations made will help cover various fees like device protection program fees, athletics fees and more.
It's SIMPLE!
- Open your MySchoolBucks account on your phone or on the website.
- Make sure you are under "Store" and not the "Meal Money" section.
- Select a Aledo ISD or a Campus and then select the option to "Donate to Pay Fees for Students in Need"
- Enter your donation amount and "Add to Cart" and complete the payment process.

Lunch Deliveries
In the event that you need to deliver lunch to your student, please follow the steps below:
- Please be sure that the lunch is clearly labeled with your student's first and last name.
- Upon entering AMS, please place your student's lunch in the bin assigned to your student's grade level lunch.
- The bins will be delivered at the start of each lunch period. Students will be responsible for getting their lunches from the bin.
Again, we request that you limit lunch deliveries when possible. Also, in order to limit distractions, we will not call students out of class to receive lunches.
Thank you for your help with this!
