KES Vision and Mission Statement
The vision of Kewaskum Elementary School is to guide our students to be respectful, hopeful, compassionate, and responsible individuals who recognize and take ownership in their educational journey.
The mission of Kewaskum Elementary School is to develop the whole child by providing an engaging and nurturing environment through high-quality teaching and learning.
Thank you
As we approach the final days of the school year, I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you. A successful school year is only possible when we work together and your partnership, flexibility, and unwavering support have meant the world to our entire staff.
Thank you for:
Volunteering your time in our classrooms, at PTO events, and on field trips.
Supporting learning at home, from nightly reading to helping with homework.
Sending your children to school every day ready to learn, grow, and show kindness.
We are incredibly proud of the growth our students have achieved this year. Thank you for trusting us with your children every day.
Wishing you all a safe, relaxing, and wonderful summer break!
Report Cards
As we wrap up another incredible school year, we want to ensure you have all the information you need regarding your child’s academic progress. Please note that final report cards will be sent home with students on Friday, June 5th. Take some time to celebrate your child's hard work, growth, and achievements this year!
Red, White, and Blue Day
Last Friday, our school community came together in a fantastic display of unity and patriotism for our Red, White, and Blue Day! It was incredible to see our hallways filled with color as students and staff dressed up to help celebrate a historic milestone—America's 250th Semi quincentennial birthday.
Student Password for 5th to 6th Grade
In late June, an email will be sent out to student email accounts containing their new password. We kindly ask that you remind your child to write it down in a safe place for future reference. Once the password changes are made, your child will not be able to use their current password to access their accounts.
More specific information will be shared with families in May and June.
Reading Resources
Looking for some ways to keep your child engaged in reading over the summer? Try some of these options:
Access CKLA readers and other activities on the Amplify Hub on the KSD Launchpad
Take advantage of the Kewaskum Public Library summer program
Access iReady MyPath lessons on the KSD Launchpad
Visit the Tumblebooks online library to read books online (also available in Spanish)

iReady
As the school year winds down, we want to help our students maintain all the amazing academic progress they’ve made this year. To prevent the "summer slide," we are excited to share that all students will have continued access to i-Ready online lessons through Friday, August 14th!
Lost and Found
Our school Lost and Found is absolutely overflowing with items looking for their owners! As we head into the final days of the school year, we want to make sure these belongings find their way back home.
Please encourage your child or children to take a walk past the Lost and Found area this week to check for any missing jackets, sweatshirts, lunchboxes, or water bottles.
Important Note: Any items left unclaimed after the last day of school will be donated to a local charity.

✅ Resilient Learners – persevere, try new things, and learn from mistakes.
✅ Digital Citizens – use technology responsibly.
✅ Healthy Individuals – practice self-care, good habits, and balance.
✅ Responsible Collaborators – work well with peers and adults.
✅ Future Focused – set goals and dream big.
