CAT is a strong leader who loves to be in charge, but sometimes her strong opinions can come across as bossy. She helps children learn to take turns, share, listen to others’ ideas, and respect different points of view. CAT also reminds us that when we hurt someone’s feelings or have a disagreement, we can always try again and make things right!

Kimochis Family Challenge: Talk about what makes each family member unique or different and why those qualities are special. At mealtime or in the car, discuss people you admire who embrace their differences or challenges and use them as strengths.

This year's elementary parent conferences are scheduled to take place from Monday, November 16th to Friday, November 20th. This valuable opportunity allows you to engage in discussions about your child's progress and gain insights into their strengths and areas for growth. On these days, Empresa will operate on a minimum day schedule to accommodate these important sessions. Further details and specific scheduling information will be provided by your child's teacher in the coming weeks.

November is a time to reflect on all that we are grateful for, and at Empresa, we are especially thankful for our incredible teachers who give so much of themselves to our students each day!

As we prepare for Parent Teacher Conferences, November 16–20, we would love to shower our teachers with heartfelt messages of appreciation from our students and families!

During Parent Teacher Conferences, we will have a special Gratitude Station with thank you cards available for families to write heartfelt messages to teachers who have made a difference in their child's life. You can also have your child write a special thank you note or draw a picture at home and bring it with you to conferences. Each teacher will have a designated gratitude bag where you can place your notes and pictures, whether created at home or at our Gratitude Station. We will collect all of these thoughtful messages throughout conference week and surprise our teachers with their bags of appreciation on Friday during a special "Thankful for You" Breakfast!

Sometimes the simplest words of appreciation mean the most. Let's fill our teachers' hearts with gratitude and remind them just how much they are loved and appreciated by our Empresa community! ❤️

Students are invited to dress alike with a friend or group of friends for Twin Day! As we celebrate, let's remember that school spirit is all about bringing our Empresa community together. We encourage our Knights to spread kindness, include others, and make sure everyone feels part of the fun. Let's make it a day filled with friendship, smiles, and Empresa spirit!
