Welcome to the Class of 2030! Welcome to the Class of 2030!

All of us at Lebanon High School have been working hard to plan your orientation, Freshman Focus. This event is a day and a half of activities designed to help your student transition smoothly into high school life. We are thrilled to welcome back Chris Bowers, a motivational speaker, to kick off the school year!

What to Expect: What to Expect:

Day 1: Thursday, August 13th (Optional, but Highly Recommended)

  • Time: 12:30 PM – 5:30 PM (12:30-12:55 drop off/arrival/welcome time, please do not drop your child off earlier than 12:30).

  • Transportation: Parents/guardians must arrange student transportation for this day. This is an orientation day, not the“official” first day of school (that’s tomorrow!)

  • Drop-off Location: Enter the school property, veer to the left of the building, and use the drop-off zone in front of Door 10 (this is the main student/event entrance). (Follow “Parent Drop-Off” procedures shown below.)

  • Important Lunch Note: Please make sure your student eats lunch before arriving today. Our closing cookout is not until roughly 4:30 PM – 5:00 PM.

  • What to Bring: Nothing! Students do not need any supplies for Day 1. Just send money if they would like to purchase Kona Ice after the cookout. The cookout is being provided by Lebanon High School.

  • Overview: A fun, high-energy afternoon. Students get early access to their schedules, have the chance to tour the building, and will participate in team-building icebreakers!

👥 Parent Meeting (5:00 PM – 5:30 PM): Before you pick on up your student, make sure to catch our informational assembly with our principal, Mr. Brunk! You can park in the student drop-off lot right outside Door 10. Head in through Door 10, and we'll see you inside the main gymnasium!

Day 2: Friday, August 14th (Mandatory First Day of School for Freshmen)

  • Time: 7:25 AM – 2:25 PM (The building opens at 6:50 AM on regular school days; students must be in class by 7:25 AM). Breakfast is available for purchase each morning in the cafeteria.

  • Transportation: Lebanon school buses will run on a normal schedule.

    • Bus Rider Info: Check the Transportation page on our school website. It will provide detailed directions on how to download and access your student's route information through the "My Ride K-12" app.

    • Car Riders: Follow the same traffic pattern as Thursday (veer left upon entering the property and use the drop-off/pick-up zone in front of Door 10). Dismissal is at 2:25 PM, parents will need to pull into the parking lot and find a spot to wait for their child.

  • What to Bring: Students can bring basic note-taking supplies (notebook/pencil). They will receive specific supply lists when teachers hand out their class syllabi.

  • Lunch: This is a normal school day, so lunch is available for purchase!

    • Families should log into the website or app for PaySchools Central ahead of time to set up and manage student meal accounts. Students are also welcome to pack lunch from home.

    • Financial Support: If you are in need of financial support, please visit our Free and Reduced Price Meals Page to complete the required applications.

Important Reminders and Links Important Reminders and Links

Final Forms Reminder (Required Annually)

Please ensure you log into Final Forms to review, sign, and complete all mandatory back-to-school paperwork. Remember, these forms must be updated and completed each school year before the first day of school. This is where you will find the student handbook, emergency medical forms, and athletic compliance. Additionally, students must have these forms completed to participate in any school field trips, including weekly off-campus travel to the local YMCA during PE class

ProgressBook (Grades & Attendance)

To monitor your student's academic progress throughout the year, log into ProgressBook Parent Access. This portal allows parents and guardians to stay on top of daily assignments, teacher updates, report cards, and live course grades.

Special Accommodations

We want to ensure that these orientation days are accessible, comfortable, and successful for every student. If your child requires any special accommodations to participate fully in the activities, please reach out to us ahead of time by emailing martin.tiffany@lebanonschools.org.

Dress Code Reminders

At Lebanon High School, students are expected to dress in a way that promotes a safe and focused learning environment. Clothing should provide appropriate coverage and must not feature explicit or inferred references to drugs, alcohol, weapons, or gang affiliation. The full, detailed dress code policy can be found in the Student Handbook via Final Forms.

Attendance & Absences

If your student is unable to attend the mandatory orientation on Friday, August 14th, please contact our Attendance Office starting the morning of August 14th at 513-934-5113.

Family Support & Wellness

If your family is in need of financial assistance as it relates to "back to school" supplies, help with paperwork, answers to questions for ways to help your child, or any other school/community resource, we are here to help! Please visit the Family Support and Wellness Page and email anyone from the team to get connected with the right support.
