AISD Expectations
Updated Cell Phone Policy
The legislature has banned cell phones in schools! This will not change our policies much; we will still not allow students to have communication devices in their possession during the school day. Upon arrival, students will place communication devices (including cell phones & smartwatches) in designated bins, and they will pick them up at the dismissal bell. Failure to comply will result in confiscation of device, disciplinary action, and a $15 fee to retrieve the device. If you need to reach your student during the school day, please call the main office.
Complaint Process
We are happy to discuss any concerns you may have regarding your child. Please always begin by contacting the person with whom your concern/complaint originates (see Secondary Staff Contact Information, below). Email is the absolute best way to reach us, but we are happy to help facilitate a meeting if you call the HS Office. All meetings must be scheduled in advance. In an effort to maximize instructional time, teachers will only be scheduled for meetings during their conference times.
