Wisconsin students in grades 3-8, and 10, will be participating in the Forward Exam during the March 21 – April 29, testing window. Our school is scheduled to take the Forward Exam from April 4th-April 14th.

The Forward Exam tests students in the areas of English language arts (ELA), mathematics in grades 3-8, science in grades 4 and 8, and social studies in grades 4, 8, and 10. One or more subtests may be administered daily during our selected time frame, and it is very important that your student be in school during this time. Students not in school on testing days will be scheduled for a make-up test prior to the close of the testing window.

The Forward Exam Information for Families brochure gives more information about the assessment including its purpose, what scores will be provided, and how the scores will be used. The Forward Exam measures the knowledge and skills students should have for their grade level. Their performance on the assessment will not affect their current grades. Please encourage students to take the test seriously and do the best they can. The results of these tests will be used to help school staff make determinations regarding curriculum, placement, and services to best support your student.

Waukesha Food Pantry

During the school day on Thursday April 21st students from Whittier will be coming to Hadfield to meet their new grade level friends. Students will be participating in a friendship activity, seeing what Hadfield looks like inside and building a stronger school community. More details coming soon.

Parents United is a non-profit consortium of 27 southeastern Wisconsin special education departments that have united to provide an educational community service. The mission of the group is to present timely and informative information, in a neutral forum, for parents and professionals who work with children. The lectures and presentations offered each school year provide essential links, knowledge and networking to the entire community for the ultimate benefit of our students.
