News From the Ranch
December 14, 2025, Vol. 1, Issue 19
Dear TRE Family,
Thank you to all of the families who volunteered to make soups or bring donation items for the Staff Holiday Lunch this past Thursday. The staff room was packed with staff enjoying delicious soups, desserts, and lots of laughter. Our staff is grateful to have the opportunity to work at TRE and support this Cool Coyote community. We are looking forward to a fun final week of school with our scholars before Winter Break. We hope you will join us at our TK Performance on Wednesday and/or our 4th and 5th grade Winter Music Showcase. If you are available on Friday, PTA is looking for Cooly Coyote store volunteers. Check out the link below in the PTA Updates section.
If you know new incoming families, please send them the School Tours info pictured below. School Tours at TRE will be on Thursday, January 15th at 9AM and 11AM starting in the MPR.

WINTER HOLIDAY SPIRIT WEEK | Dec 15-19
5th GR OUTDOOR SCIENCE INFO
Outdoor Science School: April 21-24
Thank you to those who attended the 5th Grade Outdoor Ed Parent/Guardian Info Session this past week in person and online. We hope you were able to get all of your questions answered. Outdoor Ed is a wonderful experience for our TRE students. We hope you will consider sending your child. In January, a detailed packet of information and forms to complete will come home, and we will begin to collect a $100 deposit or full payment to reserve your child's spot. Please review the FAQ document below that we sent home at the Info Session. If you have any new questions, please reach out to your child's teacher or review the Three Oaks website at https://threeoaksoss.com/.
Update: We have been awarded a $1,500 Title1grant that will help offset some costs, as well as our PTA is supporting a portion of field trips this year which will help reduce the cost to families. We have been able to reduce the cost per child to attend. As shared at the meeting, originally, the cost would have been $450 per student. Final cost per student will now be only $370.
Outdoor Ed Cost: $370/student
Deposit due by 1/23/26: $100
