The Hornet Buzz
May 15
Mission
To empower, enrich, and enlighten students to reach their full potential while respecting our past.
Greetings from Mrs. Musick
Dear Parents/Guardians,
As we reach the end of another successful school year, I personally want to thank you for being so welcoming as I finish my first year here at St. Elizabeth. I am so grateful to be in such a great school district with a great community. I have loved getting to know our students and families this year and look forward to continuing to build those positive relationships next school year. This will be my last Hornet Buzz until the beginning of August when I will welcome you to the new school year and give you lots of back to school information.
This year has been filled with so much growth and learning. From academic achievements to artistic performances, athletic competitions, and activities, our students have truly embodied the values and spirit of St. Elizabeth. Their enthusiasm, perseverance, and kindness have been a constant source of pride and inspiration.
I want to extend my deepest appreciation to you—our families—for your continued support, encouragement, and partnership. Your involvement plays a vital role in the success of our school community. Whether attending school events or simply supporting your child’s learning at home, your contributions make a meaningful difference.
To our graduating students and families who are moving on to new adventures: congratulations! We are proud of all you’ve accomplished and excited for the bright futures ahead of you.
As we head into summer break, I encourage all students to continue reading, stay curious, and enjoy time with family and friends. For those attending summer school, we are excited to welcome you back on Monday, May 19th! We look forward to welcoming everyone back for the new school year, which begins on August 18th.
On behalf of the entire staff at St. Elizabeth, thank you for a wonderful year. Wishing you all a safe, restful, and joyful summer!
It is always a great day to be a Hornet!

Summer School
Summer School
Summer school begins Monday!
Since our Theme is "Me on the Map", we encourage you to reach out to any family/friends that live out of state! Have them send us a card or postcard postmarked to 240 Church Street St. Elizabeth, MO 65075 so we can see if we can get a card from all 50 states during summer school! If they know a certain student, they can write directly to that student and/or class for summer school! We can't wait to start receiving them! We will update our progress weekly!
