LifeLeader School Rules - Growing Leaders of Character
In order to help students grow as leaders with strong character, Life School introduced three LifeLeader School Rules this year. The rules are simple, easy to understand, and address all issues globally.
Citizenship - Be Responsible & Respectful
Self-Managed - Make Good Choices
Effective Communicator - Be Positive and Kind
We invite you to partner with us by asking your child how they are demonstrating these school rules both at school and at home.
Click here to view the guide with examples of behaviors that align with each rule.
Life School Partners for Life Instagram Account
As we continue to develop valuable LifeLeader resources, we want to make them easy for parents to access and understand. We’re excited to introduce the LifeLeader Instagram account, where we’ll share practical tips, short videos, and helpful articles for parents. Our content will support families as they navigate important topics like social media, homework, academic success, and more using our shared LifeLeader language.
Our simple tools and a common language help families have meaningful conversations and guide everyday choices. Follow us and check it out here!
LifeLeader Partnership Agreement - Information Literacy
Our LifeLeader Partnership Agreement encourages families to practice information literacy by actively engaging with campus and classroom communications and by regularly reviewing student grades and attendance in Parent Portal. Staying informed in these ways helps us work together to develop LifeLeaders. If you have not already signed up for Parent Portal, you can sign up here.
Paving the Way for College Success: Information Literacy and Financial Literacy
Preparing for college might seem like a distant goal for some, but it is right around the corner for many. Understanding college readiness encompasses academics, extracurricular involvement, and especially, financial planning. Our school offers a wealth of resources to support your family, including counseling services, workshops, and information on post-graduation options, FAFSA, and scholarships.
If you have a secondary college-bound student, we encourage you to explore the Life School Counseling Resources compiled by our school counseling departments. Here you will find a scholarship and financial aid resource list that will empower you with the knowledge to support your child's journey toward higher education. Your involvement as an equal partner in their learning journey is invaluable.
Stronger Attendance, Stronger Students
Thank you to our parents for encouraging students to attend school regularly. Research shows consistent attendance is directly linked to improved academic performance, enhanced social development, and improved mental health. For example:
For elementary students, missing just two days per month can lead to lower performance in literacy and math.
For secondary students, a Johns Hopkins University study found that attendance is a stronger predictor of graduation rates than test scores.
Thanks to your dedication, the student attendance average is over 95% for the current school year! We are seeing a strong attendance rate at all of our campuses thanks to your continued commitment to supporting student success.
