Class of 2025: Weekly Updates #2

Families - do you have glass jars or vases you'd like to get rid of? We would love to take them off your hands for our prom centerpieces! Please drop them at the main office or have your child bring them to the donation box in guidance. See photos for inspiration of what we're looking for:

Submit table requests here. Each table has 10 seats, but you do not need to have 10 names in your request. Requests are due by Friday, March 28th.

If you have a song that will keep you on the dance floor, let us know here.

Students are expected to be in school on Friday, April 11th if they plan to attend prom. Students attending prom may be dismissed after 2nd block with parent permission - stay tuned for the permission slip. Dismissal calls on the day of prom will not be accepted.

Our MRHS After Prom Party event will take place on April 11, 2025. It is being held at the Chatham Community Center from 10:45 PM to 5:00 AM. We need the help of our fellow Class of 2025 parents/caregivers to put on a great event for our seniors! Please sign up to help at this link.

We are happy to entertain you this year at the After Prom Party with a mechanical bull!

The company providing the bull does not allow any kind of digital waiver. In order to ride the bull, you MUST PRINT the attached waiver.

The waiver must be signed by a parent (or the student if you are 18) and returned to the school by Friday, April 4th. This is the same day permission slips to attend after prom party are due. You may return the waiver to the main office or print/sign and email it to mere2003@yahoo.com.

Students will not be permitted to ride the bull unless your printed and signed waiver is received by April 4th. Please ensure your guest receives this email as well so they can also print and sign the waiver. Please make sure your guest also receives the After Prom permission slip that was sent to parents via Google Form. We are sorry for the inconvenience, but we can't wait to watch this event!

Hello Class of 2025! The After Prom Committee is having Cape Shark T-Shirts being made as a part of the swag bags! They need your shirt sizes ASAP. Please respond to this survey by TODAY: Monday, March 17 or you are not guaranteed the size you asked for. Also, if your date is not a Monomoy Senior, please add their shirt size and their name as well. Thank you all so much!!

We will be going to the Red Sox vs. Orioles game on Friday, May 23rd - this is the Red Sox's Class of 2025 night.

Cost is $100 per student and includes:

• Game ticket
• Transportation to/from Fenway
• Limited edition Class of 2025 Red Sox shirt
• Food credit

We know this is a lot to keep track of! For the rest of the year, we will send out this weekly newsletter to seniors and families. It is very important that students and families read all of this information and see us with any questions.
