“Change doesn’t mean the end of a season,

it means the start of your next chapter.” – Unknown

December is a time to reflect on everything you’ve accomplished and to recognize how much you’ve grown. As the year comes to a close, take a moment to appreciate the challenges you’ve overcome, the goals you’ve moved closer to, and the strength you’ve built along the way. Use this season to reset, refocus, and get ready for what’s ahead. Just like unwrapping a present, your future is full of possibilities waiting to be discovered. Keep believing in yourself, your next chapter is ready to shine.

The Michigan Career Development Model (MCDM) is a framework, guided by legislation, that engages school communities, students, and their support networks in intentional and meaningful career awareness, exploration, and preparation for all students.

Increase student knowledge about career options, job outlooks, training, and education opportunities; demonstrate career-ready practices (also referred to as employability skills or soft skills).
