Good afternoon Plano East parents,

This is a friendly reminder from the school nurse’s office:

* If your student has medication at school, it must be picked up by a parent or guardian before the last day of school. No unused medication will be sent home with students, and any remaining medication at the end of the school year will be properly disposed of on May 18th, per Plano ISD policy.

* Please remember to update your action plans over the summer for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year, if your child has one.

* If you have been notified that your student needs vaccines, please ensure all vaccines are completed over the summer to facilitate a smooth transition into the new school year. Students who are not up-to-date on vaccines will be delayed in receiving their schedule in August. Please email us the updated shot records any time. If you have an Affidavit for Exemption of Immunizations, please make sure they are not expired or expiring.

Juniors,

We would like to share some information about senior portraits and yearbook pictures. Beginning 2026-2027 school year, we will continue to offer senior portraits in the summer for our senior families, but they will not be used for the yearbook. During the summer senior portrait setting provided by Legacy Photography, you can sign up for various options of pictures which will allow you to have the traditional cap and gown picture along with other outfits if you choose, depending on the package you select. If you would like to schedule an appointment for senior portraits through the school, please use this link. All yearbook pictures will be taken when school begins through social studies classes in regular school attire. Students will receive their student ID after their picture is taken when school begins.

We are happy to share our 2026 Graduation Details!! The ceremony will take place on Thursday, May 28th, at 7:00 p.m. It will be held at The Star in Frisco. We have created our graduation page that will share all the details every family needs. Please know that as we get closer to the spring, more details will be shared on this page, so please check back.

The North and Fine Arts lots are sold out! There is still availability in the East Lot! These centrally located spots will be near the indoor athletic facility and are behind buildings 4 & 5 which is a great location. Reminder-Student must have a valid DL and must purchase a PISD parking permit which costs $75 and will go on sale in mid-July. Designs must be submitted and approved. Design submissions will open around May 1st and are due no later than July 15th. Please email any questions to parking@planoeastptsa.org and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

ATTENTION PESH JUNIORS! It's time to show your creativity - Senior Parking Spot artwork submissions will open May 1st and are due by July 15th! Make sure to submit your artwork under the same account on the Plano East PTSA website that you used to purchase your senior spot! Artwork must be submitted by the deadline or you will forfeit your spot. Don't miss your chance to leave your mark on campus - we can't wait to see your designs!
