7th Grade Physicals: Remember that Nebraska state law requires all incoming 7th graders to have a physical exam and be up to date on all immunizations before school begins.
Sports Physicals: All 7th and 8th Graders that plan to participate in athletics will need a sports physical completed for each school year. We encourage all students to get one before the start of the year, as it will last the entire year.
Recommendations: We recommend scheduling an appointment with your child's healthcare provider as soon as possible, as these spots tend to fill up quickly. Alternatively, you can visit a school-based health center for these services.
Please bring copies of your child’s health records to the school prior to the start of the year, or have the healthcare provider fax them to the school, Attention: Nurse B. If you have questions, please email Nurse B at Nichole.BonacciLemay@ops.org.
