All students who have paid the $27 locker/activity fee will receive a locker at Sneak Peek or on the first day of school. This fee covers the costs associated with maintaining and recoding the lockers. The remaining funds are spent on PBIS awards and other student events and activities throughout the year.

Please pay your locker/activity fee by Wednesday at noon, if possible. We will provide the prepaid list to homeroom teachers at that time. If you pay after 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, please bring proof of payment (printed or on your phone) to Sneak Peek.

Student Schedules Student Schedules

Most schedules are finalized; however, we are still balancing classes, so your child’s schedule may change before Sneak Peek. Please check your child’s schedule again on Thursday morning to ensure you visit the correct teachers.

Please note that schedules may continue to change during the first few weeks of school for a variety of reasons.

If you believe there is an error in your child’s schedule, please complete the Schedule Question Form to notify our scheduling team.

We will also have a schedule support station at Sneak Peek to assist with any schedule concerns or change requests.

Student Success Skills Student Success Skills

Fulton County Schools uses a program called ReThink Ed to teach Student Success Skills to all students. Student Success Skills are a set of standards that include six skills broken down into several standards across grade levels. Teaching these skills will support students in creating a foundation for managing emotions, healthy relationships, understanding and empathizing with others, being responsible and safe, and learning to cope with difficult life situations.

Principal's Message Principal's Message

Hello Husky Families,

I hope you and your family have had a wonderful summer. Although summer seems to fly by every year, we are excited to welcome our students back and begin another fantastic school year.

Our team has been hard at work preparing for your return. From getting the building ready to planning engaging learning experiences, reviewing academic data, and reflecting on family and student feedback, we have been focused on making this our best year yet. We are committed to creating a school environment where every student feels welcomed, supported, challenged, and connected.

One of my favorite things about a new school year is the fresh start it brings and the opportunity for students to reconnect with friends, make new connections, and grow together. We are especially excited to welcome our newest Huskies and their families to our school community.

I'd like to officially invite you to our Sneak Peek on July 30 from 1:00–3:30 p.m. It's a great chance to visit the school, meet teachers, and get ready for an amazing year ahead. Additional details are below.

Enjoy these last few weeks of summer, and we can't wait to see you soon!

Warmly,

Stephanie Haga
Principal

Sneak Peek Details

We hope you will be able to join us for Sneak Peek on Thursday, July 30. At Sneak Peek you can purchase a locker, get a cafeteria account, get bus information, meet your teachers and so much more! We hope to see you there.

To help the day run smoothly (cell service is spotty in the building), there is a lot you can do in advance. Click on the image below for links and directions.

New students who are unable to attend Sneak Peek are invited to check in at the front office upon arrival on the first day of school. We will have staff and student leaders ready to assist with finding classes.

Sneak Peek Arrival and Parking :

  • Families are encouraged to park on campus as our neighboring subdivisions and the nearby churches do NOT want cars parked on their streets. Another parking option is the lot next to Roswell North ES. I know it's not ideal, but we want to be good neighbors.
  • There is a 2.5-hour time window for this event and if you come prepared you will be in and out quickly. The beginning produces the largest crowd so consider staggering your arrival to avoid the crowds.
  • See the button/link below for additional information

Device Updates Device Updates

CMS will be issuing devices and cases to students during the first weeks of school. Students are getting all new device this year, which we are excited about! Please read through the FCS Device Handbook to learn more about parent and student responsibilities with devices, what to do if you have a device related issue and how FCS will be using and handling technology damage this year (hint: buy the insurance!).

Note: We require that students keep their devices in the district provided cases. It helps considerably with damage prevention.

Student Device FAQs 2026–2027 Student Device FAQs 2026–2027

Device Insurance

How do parents opt into device insurance?
Parents opt into Device Insurance during the Infinite Campus Online Registration (OLR) process.

How does insurance enrollment and payment work?
Once OLR is submitted, the insurance fee is added to the parent’s Infinite Campus account. An email with payment instructions is sent; however, the fee will still appear in the parent portal even if the email is not received. Coverage begins once payment is completed.

Can parents opt in after completing registration?
Yes. Parents should contact the Technology Support Center (TSC) at 470-254-HELP (4357) or submit a Tech Support Ticket on www.fultonschools.org. The TSC will confirm the device is undamaged and add the fee to the student’s account.

What if a parent changes their mind after selecting "No"?
If the OLR has already posted, parents must contact the TSC to request the update.

What is the cost of ODP?

  • $50 annually per student

  • $25 for students qualifying for free/reduced lunch

Can schools pay for ODP?
Schools may use SAF funds to cover the premium. However, deductibles and replacement costs remain the responsibility of the student/family. Local district funds may not be used.

What happens if the premium is not paid?
Payment is due within 30 days of the start of school. Until payment is received, the student is not covered.

Device Fees, Responsibility, and Disputes

How are device fees assigned?
Fees are assigned after responsibility is determined. Charges are pre-determined by the district and applied based on the type of damage or loss and insurance coverage.

Who determines responsibility?
Principals or Assistant Principals determine responsibility and assign discipline if warranted.

How are parents notified?
Parents/guardians receive notification through Infinite Campus when a fee is added to their account.

Can parents dispute a charge?
Yes. Parents should contact the Technology Support Center. A formal fault determination process will be coordinated with the school.

Below you will find a list of items that most students will need. When you come to Sneak Peek, teachers will share any additional items that they require for their classes. These lists will also be shared the first week of school.

A Quick Note about Dress Code A Quick Note about Dress Code

Dress code can be a tricky topic. We are familiar with current trends and plan to be reasonable. The popular athletic shorts that many students (primarily girls) choose to wear will still be acceptable as long as: they are not completely covered by a shirt/top and they fit appropriately. When students outgrow these items, they quickly become inappropriate.

In the first two weeks of school, we will have a grace period, unless a child's outfit is egregiously out of dress code. During this time, staff members will let your child know if their outfit does not meet dress code so they can adjust accordingly before being asked to change.
