Important Addams Updates
Thank You Addams Family!
I want to thank our staff for all the work they put into creating memories, learning, and enjoyment for our students. There is not a better group of passionate, dedicated educators and I am so proud to be their principal. I want to thank all of our families for their support. The way the Addams community steps up and rallies around our building is something we do not take for granted. And most importantly, our students who come here every day to grow and learn and give purpose to all of the work that goes into creating a great community like Royal Oak.
I hope your summer is full of family, friends, and making memories. We look forward to seeing you all in August!
Half Day on Friday
Friday, June 5, is our last day of school. Students will be dismissed at 12:15 p.m.
Report Cards
Report Cards will be available to view through Parent Portal on Wednesday, June 10, after 2:00 p.m.
New Visitor Sign-in Process
We recently launched our new Visitor Sign-In process at Royal Oak Schools for anyone visiting during school hours. This new system requires visitors to scan their driver's license to receive a printed badge with their name and photo. You must bring your driver’s license with you to enter the building OR preregister through the Raptor Passport App. The app is NOT required, but it can speed up sign-in for frequent visitors by allowing you to pre-upload your ID and providing a QR code to scan at check-in. The system will check all visitors against the sex offender registry to increase the safety of our students.
Any outside vendors or classroom volunteers who are flagged in the system will not be admitted to any space in the building with our student population. If a student's guardian comes to the building for a meeting with staff or administration and is flagged in the system, that meeting will occur in a private space, separate and secured from the main building.
Thank you for your patience as we launch this new system to improve student safety.
