The ND Spirit

I hope you're planning to join us tonight at Back to School Night to learn about our new teachers and classes. There is a palpable energy on campus which I hope you'll enjoy.

This morning, Hartnell College is on site to register students for Dual Enrollment classes. So far, we've had instructors approved for Biology, Calculus, Geology, Precalculus, and Statistics. We're still waiting for approval for Physics and US HIstory. Our Spirits are taking classes here at ND with our ND instructors and will receive college credit at no extra cost. We have more than a few students enrolled in 10 college credits this year. We also have 12 students enrolled in our Dual Enrollment Culinary Arts class through MPC.

Dual Enrollment will give many of our Spirits a full year of college credit by the time they graduate--especially when combined with Advanced Placement scores. If you consider how much money college costs, a year of college while at Notre Dame is an incredible value!

Go Spirits!
