2025-2026 Bearcat Blast

Give your child a confident start with Pre-K in Aledo ISD—where young learners begin their journey as Bearcats from day one. Our program is led by fully certified teachers who deliver high-quality, engaging instruction designed specifically for early childhood development. Students build a strong foundation through the science of teaching reading, helping them develop essential literacy skills from the very beginning.

Aledo ISD Pre-K prepares children for success by increasing kindergarten readiness and ensuring a smooth, confident transition into Aledo classrooms. With affordable access and expanded opportunities for families in our community, more children can benefit from a structured, nurturing environment that sets them up to thrive.

The Aledo Learning Center provides a self-paced learning environment for students who are pursuing early graduation, behind on credits or needing credit recovery, or needing a non-traditional schedule due to work, family, or personal circumstances.

Starting in 2026-2027, students will attend school in person for a half-day and complete all schoolwork online and self-paced with teacher support. Students at the Aledo Learning Center experience a more non-traditional high school environment with small groups and a shorter in-person schedule. At this time, ALC students do not have the ability to take Pre-AP, AP, Dual Credit, OnRamps or most CTE courses, and they cannot participate in UIL extracurricular activities.

This model creates incredible flexibility for students to complete their high school coursework on their own time schedule, which is often accelerated as students graduate upon completion of all required credits.
