Building a sense of belonging at NHES
In our first two weeks of school so far, we are collectively working to greet students when they enter campus & the classrooms, recognizing their accomplishments & efforts in and out of the classroom through Shark PRIDE slips & Shark of the Week awards, offering a helping hand or solution-oriented idea from academic needs to playground situations to friendships, and so much more!
We know that when students feel welcomed, known & supported, they are more confident, more engaged & better prepared to thrive academically and socially.
