I am so excited to introduce myself as the new principal of Bangor Lincoln Elementary School. It is with great enthusiasm that I join this wonderful school community, and I look forward to partnering with you to ensure the best possible educational experience for our students

Our Open House that will be held on

Wednesday, Sept. 4th from 5-6pm. We are excited to welcome you into

our newly renovated building to highlight how the community and the bond measure have positively impacted your child’s education.

Important forms will come home on the first day of school and will be due on September 3rd. Please feel free to send them with your child to school or return them at our Open House. We look forward to seeing all of you!

School Starts at 8:15 am

The first bell rings and school is open at 8:00 am.

School Day ends at 3:05 pm.

***Please note that if your child arrives after 8:45 am or the leave school after 2:45pm they are marked absent for a half day.

Our first day of school will be Monday, August 26th. Doors will open at 8:00 am.

Students are able to eat a free breakfast in the gym every day from 8:00-8:15 or go to their classroom.

Classroom instruction will begin at 8:15.

***To ensure the safety of our students and staff, parents are not allowed to walk their child to their rooms on the first day of school. Teachers will be at their classroom doors to greet and help their students.

Parent Drop off: Parents will enter the parking lot from Euclid Ave. Line up along the west (Euclid side) of the building only until 8:oo am.

Parent Pick up: Parents will enter the parking lot from Euclid Ave. Students will dismiss on that side of the school or through the front doors.

***If you park across the street, please walk your child across the street to the school building. We do not want students crossing in between cars in the parking lot alone.

Students will come directly into the building in the morning. They can go to the cafeteria for breakfast 1st or go to their classroom. Teachers will be at their classroom doors to greet and support students each day.

Skyward will be used for communication. Please login and sign-up for Skyward Family Access.

1. Go to www.bangorschools.org or your Bangor School’s website.

2. Scroll to the bottom of the website.

3. On the left, under Quick Links, click on SKYWARD.

4. Type in your parent username which is your parent last name and the first two initials of the parent’s first name (no spaces) Example: John Smith would be smithjo

5. Password: BangorSkyward

6. Please change your password when prompted.

7. In the upper right hand corner of the screen click on MY ACCOUNT.

8. Then add or change your email address. Thank you!

9. If you have any questions, please contact the office.

There must be a school form will out and signed by both the parent and physician, in order for a child to take medication during the school day. All medications must be in the original prescription container. If your child has allergies, please submit the doctor's note to our office.

Bus transportation will host an open house for families at the times listed below. If you have transportation questions or just want to get information about buses and meet the drivers, please attend.

Birthday treats are always welcome, but need to be easy to pass out. Please make sure they are individually wrapped.

Please inform your child's teacher ahead of time so that they are prepared with time to celebrate your child. Birthday cards and invitation can not be passed out in the classroom.

Communication is done through skyward. Please make sure you have provided the school with a working email address. I will also post on our school Facebook page and the

Bangor Township Schools website under the Lincoln tab.
