PRIDE Period
PRIDE Update
Over the first several weeks of school, this flex period has been utilized to support a range of schoolwide needs, including assemblies, benchmark assessments, MTSS interventions, special education services, and independent practice in math and language arts through IXL. In the coming weeks, Dr. Crater and the administrative team will conduct focus groups with teachers, parents, and students to review past practices and gather input on how PRIDE can best serve our students and support district and school goals moving forward. The objective is to ensure PRIDE becomes a structured and purposeful period that advances student achievement and growth, while also maintaining the positive elements identified through stakeholder feedback. Updates regarding PRIDE will be shared in future newsletters and posted on the Strayer Middle School webpage.
