Dear Churchill Families,

I hope this message finds you well and staying warm. As we continue through the winter season, please remind your students to wash their hands regularly and use hand sanitizer as needed. We want to ensure that all of our students remain healthy, safe, and in school.

A quick reminder: If your child misses 18 or more school days during the year, they will be considered chronically absent and referred to the Regional Office of Education. If you have any questions or concerns about attendance, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me.

Congratulations to the 5th Grade Band for their outstanding performance during last Friday’s concert! They did a fantastic job—way to go! (Check out the pictures below.)

In case of an E-Learning Day, please see the schedule below. Students have already been shown how to log on to their Teams meetings:

E-Learning Schedule

  • 8:30am - 8:40am: Attendance & Pledge with Homeroom Teacher
  • 8:40am - 12:00pm: Math/Reading & PE/Specials
  • 12:00pm - 1:00pm: Lunch
  • 1:00pm - 2:30pm: Teacher Office Hours

Additionally, please note there is no school on Monday, January 20th, in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, a time to honor his legacy as a champion of civil rights for all.

Lastly, as temperatures can fluctuate, kindly remember to dress your child appropriately for the weather each day.

Warm regards,
Mrs. Peacock

Attendance Matters Attendance Matters

zoom_out_map

We are excited to welcome our students to school each day! To maintain a healthy school environment, please keep your child at home if they are feeling unwell. Timely attendance is crucial—frequent tardiness or early departures disrupt the learning experience for all students. We encourage you to support your child's success by ensuring they have a consistent routine, eat nutritious meals, and get plenty of rest.

For any attendance-related matters, please be sure to communicate directly with your child’s teacher and the main office. Thank you for your cooperation in helping our students stay engaged and on track!
