Wiggin Street Parent Update

Dear Wiggin Street Families,

We loved seeing everyone’s school spirit this week! Our week ended on a high note with a fantastic pep rally featuring MVHS students, including band members, cheerleaders, football players, the Homecoming Court, other fall athletes, and of course, the MV Yellow Jacket! Our students cheered the team on to a big win—Mount Vernon defeated Zanesville 42-0 during Friday’s Homecoming game. That makes it three wins in a row for the Jackets, with an overall record of 4-2 and 1-0 in conference play.

Let’s go, Jackets! 🧡🖤

On Wednesday, our students had a great time learning lacrosse drills from the Kenyon Women’s Lacrosse Team during Morning Fitness. A big thank-you to the team for taking the time to be with our kids! Coming up this Wednesday, we’re excited to welcome the Kenyon Men’s Soccer Team. If the weather cooperates, we’ll move the activity outdoors. Fingers crossed for sunshine!

Thank you to all the parents that helped with the delivery and pick up of Mums! We also had an amazing group of 2nd grade students that helped to carry and organize them when they arrived. Most of all, thank you to the entire school community. We are blessed to be in such a supportive community!
