• 9:30 a.m. - Seniors report to the Main Gym for a mandatory Graduation Rehearsal.
• 2:00 p.m. - Optional Senior Walk - Meet at your Elementary School.

• 3:15 p.m. - Seniors report to LSHS to ride the bus to graduation.
• 5:00 p.m. - Graduation Ceremony - Seniors should leave the venue with their family.

Are you ready to lead and represent the Class of 2026? Applications for Senior Class Officer positions are now available! All applications and two teacher recommendations are due by Thursday, May 29. Recommendation forms are also available from Ms. English (Room C309) or Ms. Beschorner (Student Services). Two teacher recommendations are required to be considered.

If you have any questions, please reach out to Ms. English or Ms. Beschorner. Don’t miss this opportunity to help shape your senior year!

On Sunday, June 1, the LSHS Girls Flag Football Team will take the field at Lakeville South’s stadium and we want to pack the stands! Join us on the Home Side to cheer on our players and help lead them to victory. This is a brand-new sport for Lakeville South, and your support can help it grow. Let’s show up and show out for our Cougars!

The Lakeville South Chapter of the National Honor Society inducted 43 new members on Wednesday, May 21. Advisor Ms. McCabe welcomed the new members an Ms. Bertelsen gave a meaningful and inspirational speech. Congratulations to all!

What is Encore?
🎤 Encore is Lakeville South High School’s premier a cappella group, known for its dynamic and award-winning performances and commitment to musical excellence. Members engage in advanced vocal training, frequent performances, competitions, and professional coaching throughout the year. Participation requires dedication, punctuality, and a team mindset.
🎤 Encore meets daily during Early Bird (7:00 AM) and performs throughout the year at community events, games, festivals, Nightclub (with the Jazz Band), and competitive festivals, including the International Championship of High School A Cappella (ICHSA).

When are auditions?
🎤 Monday, June 2 - vocal audition during the school day & dance audition afterschool (both mandatory)
🎤 Tuesday, June 3 - callbacks during Early Bird (7AM) in the choir room

The Washington County Labor Assembly is offering a $500 scholarship to union members or their family members. Eligible applicants must be affiliated with a union connected to the Saint Paul Regional Labor Federation, reside in Washington County (or have a parent or guardian who does), have a passing grade at the end of the academic term, and attend an accredited institution. Abbott and Fenner Scholarship Program. Abbott & Fenner Business Consultants are pleased to be able to continue with our $1,000 scholarship for the 19th year. Applications are due by June 10, 2025. 🆕 Rising high school seniors will soon enter the world of college applications, but this summer, they have valuable free time to search for funding opportunities before their schoolwork begins again in the fall. Encourage your rising seniors to start now so that they are fully equipped for success when August rolls around!

Scholarships.com would like to spotlight the Apex Hosting’s Minecraft Scholarship, which awards one US student with $2,000 towards their college tuition. The deadline for the Minecraft Scholarship is July 31st, which leaves students with plenty of time to log off their Minecraft servers and write a short essay about the game as an educational and professional tool. This scholarship is a great opportunity for gamers - take a break and apply!
