Greek Parade at Tarpon Springs
Join us for the 2024 Annual Greek Parade in Tarpon Springs on Sunday, March 17, starting at 1 p.m.
The parade route, heading north on Alt. U.S. 19, west on Dodecanese Boulevard, and south on Roosevelt Boulevard, will be a vibrant display of Greek pride, closing to traffic until approximately 3 p.m.
Plato Academy is thrilled to embrace this tradition once more and invites our families to be part of the excitement. This is your chance to join our students, staff, and Greek teachers in creating the most spectacular street parade ever. We'll be gathering at 12:00 on Lemon Street in Tarpon Springs, with a Plato Academy float.
- To secure your spot in this joyous event, inform your teachers or, even better, fill out the form below by Friday, March 8th.
- As the parade coincides with the sun's peak hours, here are some tips for a safe and enjoyable experience: sunscreen, sport sunglasses with UV ray protection, hats, and keep a bottle of water handy.
- Additionally, students are kindly requested to wear their school uniform.
Don't miss out on this memorable celebration – mark your calendars and join us for an unforgettable day of Greek pride and community spirit!
Please note the planned picnic after the parade is cancelled due to low participation.
