2026 LHS Graduation Day

Saturday, June 6th

10:00 AM Grass field adjacent to the bleachers . Graduates arrive at 9:15am and must park in upper lot. Student parking will be saved for families.

Civics Project

Lunenburg High students, Jaxon DiRusso, Nico Garcia Rodriguez, Chris Katis, Lucas Kolod, and Nathan Majovski built a pollinator garden for the Lunenburg Middle-High School grounds as their civics project in Mr. Stevenson's Civic & Community Engagement class. The boys built the wood structure at home, transported it to the school, and then worked with Ms. Gearin to plant appropriate flowers.

LMHS Band and Choir

Fantastic job by the LMHS bands and LMS choir who represented Lunenburg at the Trills and Thrills Music Festival yesterday. Both bands received a silver medal and LMS choir received a gold medal. Everyone did a great job and you should be proud of your accomplishments.

SENIORS CAN ACCESS GOOGLE ACCOUNTS THROUGH JULY 31

Senior accounts will now be open until July 31st. After that they will be deleted. If you'd like to keep a couple documents or most of your files, there are steps you can take. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Vallee at pvallee@lunenburgschools.net or the IT Department at help@lunenburgschools.net

  • You can't simply share from your school Google account to a personal Google account, because access will be lost once the original school account is deleted.
  • If you only have a few folders or individual documents (like a resume or great essay you wrote) you'd like to keep, you could download each one to your home computer.
  • You can also follow the steps in this How to Transfer or Download Google Files guide -https://docs.google.com/document/d/1gwQNEK5XYWoW3HmoyDHG7CDdc_XXCqUCG6zNN0i2Q4E/edit?usp=sharing

France Switzerland Trip

For any students still interested in signing up for the France/Switzerland trip, there will be a virtual meeting on Wednesday, June 3rd at 6pm. This meeting is intended for any students, parents, or guardians who have not yet attended.

This is a virtual Zoom meeting.

LHS Yearbook

Please use the link below to buy your son or daughter a yearbook. The yearbooks will arrive mid-summer and can be picked up at the school on certain days and times to be announced once they have arrived. Since they have been selling all year, we only have a limited number of copies left to sell since we had to put in our final count last month. If you would like one, reserve your copy now.

Seasonal Allergies Tips

  • Reduce Exposure: Keep doors and windows closed and use air conditioning in your house and car to filter air.

  • Avoid hanging laundry outside, as pollen sticks to towels, sheets and clothes.

  • If you have forced air heating or air conditioning in your house, use high-efficiency filters and follow regular maintenance schedules.

  • Keep indoor air dry with a dehumidifier.

  • Use a portable high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filter in your bedroom.

  • Clean floors often with a vacuum cleaner that has a HEPA filter.

  • After-School Routine: Have children wash hands and face immediately upon entering the house to prevent spreading pollen. Remove clothes you’ve worn outside. A shower at bedtime is recommended to remove pollen from hair and skin.

  • Wash sheets and pillow cases regularly.

  • Monitor Pollen Counts: Check local daily reports; limit outdoor activity on high-pollen or dry, windy days.

  • Avoid lawn mowing, weed pulling and other gardening chores that stir up allergens.

  • Wear a face mask if you do outside chores.

Medication Management: Consider non-drowsy, daily antihistamines (like Allegra, Zyrtec or Claritin) after checking with your pediatrician, rather than relying solely on fast-acting meds, which can cause drowsiness. These medications need to be taken daily to be effective and once a day medications need to be taken at home.

Please Check Power school

There are only about 14 days left before the year ends. While students are excited about the upcoming school break, please continue to monitor your child's grades and progress through PowerSchool.
