Happy Advent, everyone! My hope for all of our SHS families this month is to find time amongst the business of the upcoming holiday and be still, to prepare for the glorious coming of our Lord at Christmas and at the end of times. At school, we have adorned classrooms with wreaths and purple and rose candles as our school community engages in the season. Your participation at home and as a family is so appreciated!
In addition to seasonal preparations, the school has begun preparations for the 2026-2027 school year. Your family can help by filling out and returning, with your oldest student or directly to the office, your family’s intent-to-return form. Understanding our year-to-year retention and numbers helps us plan for next year's enrollment. Know that these forms are not legally binding, but your honest discernment and participation are very appreciated.
You will see a shift in scheduling next week as students will attend Mass on Monday, December 8th, to celebrate the Holy Day devoted to the Immaculate Conception of Mary. It is a Holy Day of Obligation for the Church, and we invite all families to fulfil that obligation with the students at the 8:05 Mass.
