NEWSLETTER | TERM 1 | WEEK 6 | 12 MARCH 2026
Good afternoon parents and caregivers,
It is hard to believe that we are already more than halfway through Term One. The beautiful weather this week has been a welcome change, and our students have certainly enjoyed spending time outdoors.
On Wednesday, an excited group of Year Six students and staff headed off to camp at Point Walter Recreational Camp. This camp is an important milestone in the Year Six journey and provides a wonderful opportunity for students to strengthen friendships and create lasting memories. I was delighted to visit on Tuesday afternoon and evening to spend some time with them. A sincere thank you to Mrs Freeman, Mr Mastan, Miss Grant and Mrs Chansaw for their efforts in organising such a fantastic experience for our students.
Next week we will celebrate Harmony Week, culminating in our Harmony Day Assembly on Thursday. With such a wonderfully diverse school community, it will be a special opportunity to recognise and celebrate the many cultures that make up our school. Students are invited to wear traditional cultural clothing or something orange on Thursday as part of the celebrations.
Please keep the community of St Kieran Catholic Primary School in your thoughts and prayers as they mourn the passing of their much-loved Assistant Principal, Mrs Sally Hart. Our prayers are with them during this difficult time.
Enjoy a lovely weekend.
God bless
Rebecca Clarke
Principal

Dear Families and Caregivers
This week the Year 6 students enjoyed a fantastic time away on camp, creating lasting memories while strengthening their teamwork and friendships. Throughout the camp, students enthusiastically took part in a range of exciting activities including paddling along the Swan River, bush walks and flying foxes. These experiences provided wonderful opportunities for students to challenge themselves, support one another and grow together.
Last week we put a call out for donations for our Early Years Outdoor Project and we would like to extend a sincere thank you to the families who have already begun bringing in natural loose materials and placing them in the labelled containers in our Early Years area. Your support is greatly appreciated and plays an important role in helping us create rich outdoor learning environments for our students. If you are able to continue contributing materials, we would be very grateful.
Yesterday, our Year 3 and Year 4 students led a beautiful liturgy for our school community. We extend our thanks to the students, staff and Father Leonard for guiding this meaningful celebration. It was wonderful to see our community come together in prayer and reflection.
We hope you all have a wonderful week ahead.
God bless
Brooke Davison & Kadir Mastan
