After-School Activities at Mansion Avenue School: Learning to Choose

Mansion Avenue School offers a wide range of after-school activities designed to spark curiosity, build teamwork, and encourage new skills. From sports and art clubs to music groups and academic programs, there is something for nearly every interest.

With so many choices, however, students quickly learn an important life lesson: they can’t always be involved in everything at once. Balancing schoolwork, activities, and personal time means making thoughtful decisions about which programs best match their passions and schedules.

Teachers and staff encourage students to explore different activities throughout the year, while also reminding them that it’s okay to focus on just one or two. This helps children discover their strengths, manage responsibilities, and develop a sense of commitment.

At Mansion Avenue School, after-school programs aren’t just about filling time—they’re about giving students opportunities to grow while also learning how to make choices that work best for them.

Before school clubs and activities run from 7:30 am - 8:25 am.

After school clubs and activities run from 3:10 pm - 4:00 pm.

Each activity will have its own registration form that will be sent home to families about three weeks prior to the start date. For some activities, there is a lottery system when more students register than there is space available. Each activity advisor communicates with families as to whether students were randomly chosen to attend.
