What a wonderful year for our students at Arlington!

Looking back on this year, I remember the laughter of a little TK student, a kid with a missing tooth giving a big smile, Trunk or Treat games, Jog-A-Thon bubbles, the families dancing to the DJ at the school dance, the art classes, the kids loading on a bus for a field trip, the cheers for one another at a Monday morning assembly, the charts completed, books read, lines memorized, goals reached, friendships made, and inches they all grew!

We are so proud of our SUPERSTAR students and really grateful to our staff and teachers at Arlington. What a great environment for our kids to learn, grow, and thrive! Here's to a great summer!

JUNE

Wednesday 6/10 5th grade culmination 9am (178th gate opens at 8:45am and guests will be given a visitor sticker) followed by PTA 5th end of year picnic 11:30-2pm on field

Thursday, 6/11 Last day of school (*early out 12pm)

JULY

7/1 Join/renew your Arlington PTA membership online at TOTEM for $10 a member! (there's a $1 processing fee). Every person - parent, grandparent, aunt/uncle and even the student can be a PTA member! (More info to come soon)

8/17 Summer Soiree 4-6pm at the blue lunch benches

8/20 First day of school!

Yearbooks will be delivered to your child's class on Monday, June 8th! YAY 🎉

Our PTA board gathered together to celebrate the end of a great school year. This delicious dinner was to celebrate the volunteers who have been involved behind the scenes to make a huge impact at Arlington! Each decision, and execution of an event requires their time, energy, and communication. I appreciate each one of them. Some aren't pictured but each member on the PTA board is so valuable!! We will have tables set up with the following info:

• PTA membership drive - the more members the more support for our kids + school unity!
• Spiritwear - see what we'll be selling in the fall for Arlington clothing sale
• Adventures in Art (AIA) - learn how to become a docent and teach art throughout the year
• Library - sign up to volunteer in our school library
  
• Room parent - sign up to be the room parent for your child's class, it's a special role!
