Principal's Update
Hello Mill Middle School Families,
It has been a wonderful start to the school year, and we are so pleased to see our students settling into their routines with such great energy and enthusiasm. Thank you for your continued support as we work together to make the 2026 - 27 school year a successful one for all of our students.
As a reminder, our school doors open at 8:40 AM, allowing students time to arrive, get settled, and prepare for the day. The school day officially begins at 8:55 AM., and students who arrive at their home base after 8:55 AM will be considered late. We encourage families to plan accordingly so that students have enough time to arrive, take care of any morning needs, and be ready to begin the day on time.
We also want to remind families that all Mill Middle School students will receive free breakfast and lunch throughout the school year. Breakfast is available each morning from 8:40 - 8:55 AM., and we encourage any student who would like breakfast to arrive during this window. Students are assigned a designated lunchtime based on their grade level and will attend lunch during their scheduled grade-level lunch period.
For our student-athletes, we also have a sports shuttle available each afternoon for Mill Middle School students participating in Modified, JV, and Varsity athletics who need transportation to South High School. The sports shuttle departs from Mill Middle School daily at 3:45 PM. and will be the first bus located in the bus loop. Students who need to utilize the shuttle should report to the bus loop at the appropriate time and follow directions from our Mill staff.
The regular school day concludes at 3:35 PM., and students will follow our established dismissal procedures to ensure that dismissal is safe and orderly for everyone.
We greatly appreciate your partnership in helping our students establish positive daily routines, arrive prepared and on time, and make the most of each school day. We are excited about the year ahead and look forward to continuing to work together to make Mill a place where every student feels supported, connected, and ready to learn.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support.
Sincerely,
Chris McDuffie

School Enrollment and Immigration
Rights of and Protections for Students, Parents and Persons in a Parental Relation related to School Enrollment and Immigration
In 1984, the United States Supreme Court ruled it is unconstitutional to deny undocumented children access to a free, public K-12 education. This ruling is still in place today and is the law. The Williamsville Central School District is committed to ensuring students have equal access to education, regardless of immigration status, national origin, citizenship, or any other protected reason, and strictly complies with the Supreme Court’s decision.
The Williamsville Central School District takes all legally allowable steps to protect students while they are attending school. The school has strict protocols in place for handling requests from immigration officials for (1) information about students; (2) cooperation with immigration enforcement activities; and (3) requests for a student to be released to immigration authorities.
Parents and persons in a parental relationship should make sure the Williamsville Central School District has updated emergency contact information, including a list of all individuals authorized to pick your child up from school, in the event you are unavailable to do so. Please contact the Main Office of your child’s school at the number below to provide any necessary updates:
